Family-Owned, San Antonio–Focused, With Decades of Experience in Bar Games and Amusements

With four key employees—Kathy, George, Matt and Donald who have been working at CityWide Amusements for years, we are your best choice for bar games and amusements!

Here’s our secret: We are not seeking to greatly expand our business in metropolitan San Antonio. Instead, we find that focusing on a smaller geographic area (about a 40-mile radius of our shop in San Antonio), with a limited number of accounts, allows us to provide unparalleled customer service and response times. You can depend on same-day service with CityWide Amusements, as well as a level of attention to your business that you won’t find elsewhere in South Texas.

CityWide Amusements is the bar game and jukebox experts; we’ve been installing and servicing our bar amusements since 1974 in the metro San Antonio area. We use only the most durable pool tables, dartboards, juke boxes, and ATMs, and we service everything we install and set up.

CityWide Amusements was started in 1974, and George Richel, an electrician by trade, bought half the company from the original owner in the early 2000s. He found he liked the bar gaming business and bought out the remainder in 2016. His wife Kathy handles the company accounts, and Matt Jefferys, who has been with us going on three years,  is a master account supervisor who handles equipment maintenance, and importantly, administers CityWide’s dart and pool league play! Donald Lingerfelt is our newest employee who handles equipment maintenance and service calls.

We view the bar-gaming business not only through the lens of equipment and client relationships (though we value them immensely!), but also how it drives customers to your bar or pub. For example, with the WiFi-enabled dartboards we use, we can coordinate and encourage tournaments and league play among other bars with CityWide equipment, including playoffs, semifinals, and finals, all of which draw more customers to the bar.

We’ll discuss bar-gaming options with you that will work best, and we’ll advise you on how to maximize your revenue, both through the games themselves and through the bar revenues they generate.
